In fact, non-EU migration to the UK increased dramatically post-Brexit and especially in the aftermath of COVID. It has since decreased some due to more stringent requirements on who can migrate to the UK.

Like Reagan, Thatcher was about finance and deregulation. So the jobs went overseas. It's been said German and Japanese engineering is better than UK. You need a knowledge base and innovation to manufacture much of anything.

That there UK is what the US will be like in 20 years thanks to Trump.

I stopped watching after the Reform person started talking about how the UK had control of its own laws again. The UK always had control of its own laws. Meanwhile trade with the EU is still lower than it was pre-Brexit. The UK economy is £100-200 billion smaller in terms of GDP every year and overall it is 6-8% smaller than it would be if the UK had not left the EU. But … blue passports.

is like looking at trump & the magats.

Farage, just like trump, is very good at pointing at immigrants and saying - that's your problem it's those people. Farage is known to be patronizing to woment, just like trump. And just like trump, farage lies and manipulates and there are plenty of people in England who will fall for those lies. Hate sells and misery loves company - farage & trump are master sellers.
