5. I know firsthand the racist America for brown people

We ALWAYS left the SOUTH to vacation in California.

Texas is and was a very racist state,
Although Texas is ‘better’ in most major cities now,
Compared to 1960s 1970s 1980s, it’s improved.

But Republicans will always be Republicans,
Racism is always there, bubbling up,
The white neighbor who never says a word, never waves,
And when a new white family moves in the street,
The white neighbor of mine always seen to be friends
with the new white family.

I’ve seen it OVER AND OVER AND OVER

Today it usually is more subtle.

I could list numerous examples but what’s the use,
