Good news in CT. So glad that P&W machinists are going back to work after only three weeks of strike in East Hartford and Middletown. Meanwhile in Groton and New London the Marine Draftsmen's Association (MDA) looks to have a settlement that will avoid a strike - voting is going on now to likely approve the handshake agreement reached last Sunday. MDA-UAW Local 571 at the EB submarine shipyard has about 2,500 members. The union members really showed management they were united.
