It was tragic beyond words. What came after was inevitable imo.

But doesn't that kind of prove my point? There are forces in Israeli society - now very strong and gaining momentum - that will do anything to stop a two-state solution. In fact, now they've succeeded.

The left and even much of the centre is dead in Israel. And that is a reflection of what Israelis really want for Palestinians.
