They assume a war with China will occur in 2026/2027 because Xi supposedly told China's military leaders to be prepared for an invasion of Taiwan by that time. The far right military bloggers absolutely believe it, because they're a bunch of nuts.

But the US military has been increasing exercises near China with Japan and Korea, and is building up forces in the Philippines.
