9. I thought the justification for ousting Hogg

has to do with the absence of a female candidate, only they turn around and replace him with a man. Now people are applauding opposition to democracy in favor of a permanent House of Lords in order to maintain the status quo at all costs. Should I really have to remind people that the status quo is a party that got thrashed in 2024 and has historically low approval ratings? So much for the party undergoing self-reflection and bringing about change to adopt a winning strategy.
