I got a couple of claim forms for "found money" by email today. Both legit. Online they don't show the value, [View all]
just that there is some amount of money due you.
1st was Maine. $35.00. And I don't need to do anything. They'll be cutting a check. I felt like I' did when I won on a scratch ticket.
The 2nd from Mass, was more complicated. 2 page form to print and sign. Include copies of my SS card and a picture ID, DL/Passport.
The payout? $6.85. Yeah, I think I'll pass. The stupid thing is they don't ask if you want to gift it to the State,
