3. Tried to buy new tires at Walmart online.

Went through the whole thing, got a confirmation that my tires would be installed at 2 PM the next day at...Columbus, Ohio. Hundreds of miles away.

Changed "my store" location back to where I live and went through the whole thing again. This time they set me up in White Plains. Hundreds of miles away. Doesn't seem to be any way to change this, so I cancel the whole deal out and start over.

This time I got Walmart about 80 miles away. They are getting closer.

Finally! Got an appointment in my closest Walmart.

I've got an e-mail confirmation, a time and date that works. Let's go.

Oooops! Got an e-mail canceling the appointment. No reason given. So I drive out to the damn store to talk to a person.

They tell me my appointment was not canceled, so I go ahead and get the tires mounted. Took 2 and a half hours, because they "had to work me in". Great. Got my tires and went home.

Another e-mail waiting for me. Seems since my appointment was "canceled", I owe a service charge of $13.05. They will hold the tires (which are on my car) until June 6. Check my credit card statement, and there are no charges from Walmart at all. One month later, and after repeated e-mails to them that receive no response, still no charge on my credit card.

And Republicans want government to be run more like a business? Lord save us all from the visionaries.
