When my mom divorced my dad, she picked us up and wanted to move to AZ. Oue car broke down in Tulsa OK. A family who had some oil money put us in a hotel and bought us meals for a week until we could get into a Salvation Army Shelter. From there we moved to the Tulsa Community Shelter. We stayed there for 8 months, mom got a job there cooking. The 8 months there, playing in back with my sisters are a fond memory.

Being a BIG sci-fi fan, this episode always hits home to me, having been homeless and living in shelters as a child.

To this day, I can not eat Cream of Wheat.
