WTF has happened to the journalistic integrity of this formerly fine channel? (rhetorical question...It's low IQ corporate media)
In the first block tonight, they ran an awful piece where right-wing-tool Dick Johnson (yep, that's his real name) displayed photos of disgraced and imprisoned former Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich. The photos showed Blago with unkempt grey hair (he'd normally been well quaffed and likely dyed his hair jet black), looking overweight and wearing torn sweatpants.
Making matters worse, the "story" was run in the first block, the photos were sourced from The National Inquirer, and Johnson (the "journo"
did a "man on the street" where he showed these pix to people on the street in order to register their shock and disgust at the former Governor's fall from grace.
They also reported that "a source" reported he'd had a major mental breakdown.
I'm no Blago apologist or fan, but WTF has happened to journalism when this crap is cobbled together and made into a story.
