Chicago: Last remaining Trump street signs removed [View all]
http://wgntv.com/2016/12/06/last-remaining-trump-street-signs-removed/CHICAGO — The last honorary streets signs in Chicago bearing Donald Trump’s name have been removed.
Chicago city council’s passed an ordinance over a month ago to have the signs outside Trump Tower taken down.
The Dept of Transportation tells the Chicago Tribune city sign crews pulled down the remaining two street signs on Wabash near Trump Tower on Sunday morning. A third Trump sign was stolen months ago.
The move came after Trump repeatedly referred to Chicago as a “war-torn city” and pledged to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.
