change things there.

It's a step anyhow.

A lot of cops obviously lose control of themselves in a lot of cases. Other cops need to step in and tell them to go cool it, get control of their temper, and settle the fuck down and let less out of control, less angry, less agitated cops handle things from there.

It is a reasonable first step effort, I think.

It's better than nothing, which is what the majority of other police departments in other cities are doing.
