The price of gas had jumped almost a buck per gallon all over town. This station had not raised the price yet. there was a long line at the pumps and only that one lady there.
Despite all that she was being nice to everyone. I thought she had earned it.

I've also been known to give panhandlers a 20 when they ask for spare change.
