11. Booker is on right wing of the Democratic Party and is no populist.

He's leading the polls because he's such a skilled (albeit shameless) self-promoter. In that he resembles another conservative New Jersey politician who runs up big poll numbers -- Christie.

In my book, no one who attacks labor unions can be considered a populist.

Unfortunately, I think both of those unworthy opportunists will win their races.
