He may use different words (the slogan was what people complained about) but his position is effectively a focus on high end investigations or serious crimes while addressing issues like homelessness instead of sending the cops after them or having cops respond to mental health calls which was effectively what advocates of Defund the Police were asking for.

I know sex crimes are against the law but law enforcement tend to treat the victim like the suspect.
