becomes very problematic. They usually have no means for cross-ventilation outside their HVAC unit which is a big damned question for filter contamination if they allow workers to congregate without masks in between clients. Risk diminished by all wearing masks at the time of the haircut, but hardly optimal.

SO, no. I think this is a bad idea. I've not had my hair cut in six months since January. I'd sure like to and we have a statewide mandatory mask mandate. But, as a HCW, if I do, it will be early in the morning after I've inquired how many other clients will be there and I will undoubtedly use one of my prized supply of N95 to do so. I owe it to my patients to do so.

You might inquire if they would allow you to come in with wet, clean hair (which they can rewet) and do so very quickly without drying to limit exposure. Even better if they would agree to do so sitting OUTSIDE.
