I live in a ruby red county in Texas. The last time a Democratic Presidential primary candidate won Guadalupe County was in 1964 when LBJ won. Only 20 percent of registered voters cast a primary ballot here. The majority of votes were cast on Republican ballots. Nikki Hayley and Uncommitted won 20 percent of the votes. Haley/Uncommitted percentage was about the same state wide. In 2020 Trump beat Biden state wide by 200,000 votes or so. He can’t afford to lose the Haley/Uncommitted voters. I did not know Uncommitted was a Republican thing. 🙄

Then again Uvalde County reelected the same Sheriff the DOJ blamed for mishandling the Robb Elementary massacre. The Uvalde Sheriff ran unopposed by Democrats. Gah!
