Trump signs permit for Laredo cargo-only border system as Cuellar hails trade win

Unlike existing bridges that handle mixed traffic and depend on conventional diesel trucks, the Green Corridors project is billed as a freight-only elevated system using low-emission shuttles to move goods.

The company says the system will operate 24/7 and aims to ease congestion, cut emissions and reduce inspection delays by separating commercial cargo from regular traffic.
