...saving face guides everything - do not behave in such a way as to bring dishonor to yourself or your family. This is how it was explained to me during a new ccomers' orientation when I was stationed in Japan with the Air Force nurse corps.

The Japanese must be horrified by TSF's crude, crass, thuggish behavior.
