3. mother died at 88 following 6 yrs. of Alzheimer's; uncle is 93 and blind

Getting old isn't the problem, it's what comes along with it.

As a 62 y.o. Stage 4 cancer patient, I'd love to live 15 or 30 more years but extreme old age is often hell. I consider NOT living to that age as the silver lining if cancer takes me "early."
