13. one weird aspect for me...

I have "labile" systolic hypertension, meaning that it spikes with stress. Sometimes into the stroke zone. Many times, without any provocation -- it just happens.

It is accompanied by a heightened noise in the ears.

And so if my ears are ringing very loudly, I know to check my BP and take a pill if necessary to bring the BP down to normal range.

But aside from that, it never goes away. Often bad. Sometimes VERY bad. But never gone. Sometimes I wake up at night with my ears ringing hard and loud, and then I take my BP and have to take med to bring it down. Very frustrating.
