So many lives lost. So many families split apart and communities destroyed, yet it doesn't appear that our current administration, or any but the most fringe of candidates, has even considered ending the drug war. The cost in life, money, and human suffering is too great for this policy to continue, and I would think that that is the view of a very large portion of the American public. A simple solution(or simple enough) I see to this problem, is to reclassify drug "problems" and "crimes" as health problems. Decriminalization is the only reasonable way forward.
