The Drug Industry's Triumph over the DEA

1. Glad this is getting some attention

of course there's always plenty of corruption when big pharma can get some profit from it. DEA is too busy punishing harmless legal marijuana growers while ignoring the many shady prescription drug operations deliberately taking advantage of people.

I would think more DUers would be discussing this topic and it baffles me why they seem to largely ignore the problem on the big pharma/DEA side and claim sympathy for pain patients. I want patients to get their meds safely and legally. I just also want addicts to get treatment and stop dying of overdoses.
