However, the risk of damage to your life from criminalization of marijuana is not even subject to debate and far exceeds the risk of damage to your life from actually smoking marijuana, even if you start when you are 15.

Alcohol kills brain cells. Lots of them. The long term risk of the many psychoactive drugs routinely prescribed to children is not clear. What is clear is that tossing people into jail, pushing draconian civil penalties on them, etc. for using marijuana is bankrupt bullshit policy.

Queue the next monthly marijuana OMFG it might get legal scare story.
