19. Hell yes, I'm relieved every time my SS or my husband's shows up in our bank account on time!

I'm allowed to be relieved, thank you very much, and so is anyone else who relies on SS for survival. That is entirely separate from my concern for everyone who is suffering from Schlump's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad, decision making (including turning Eloon and DOGE loose to lay waste to our government),

I assure you that concern DOES exist. My husband and I have both experienced our share of layoffs and bouts of unemployment (though nothing like the chaos government workers are now facing, which I honestly have trouble even imagining), and we know it can be frightening and stressful. But when one's own survival seems to be hanging by a thread, that is naturally where one's attention is going to be primarily fixed. I am not going to apologize to anyone for that.
