73. "AARP is just a front organization for United Health Care"

Can’t recall who wrote that.

I looked for supplement health insurance options a year ago. Started with AARP in which I’m a member.

And then I read the comments!! From AARP members who took their advice, got United Health, and it was all downhill from there.
And there were thousands of complaints.
And thousands of questions from AARP members asking why AARP continued to back them given how bad they are.

AARP, when questioned, NEVER explained why. Over the years AARP has never looked at any other insurer to compete for their sponsorship.

It’s because of all the $$$$ they get from United.
Because United owns AARP.
AARP is a marketing front for United Health.

I went with another insurer. My AARP membership will expire in a few months. I won’t renew it.
