I think it would be even more reassuring if President Obama was to take the same pledge.

If Social Security was tampered with before the projected inauguration of HRC she would share none of the blame. The GOPukes would jump at the chance to agree to just about anything if Soc Security was on the table. In the two months or so between election and swearing in of the new President there would be more than enough time for something like that to sleaze its way from introduction to being signed in the Oval Office.

Of course, this may not seem likely but if there is one thing the Third Way has taught me, it's, well...
