Big push by the doctor for those lenses. After doing some research I found out that they are not as "super whizz bang" as advertised. If they try to tell you that you will not need readers or glasses ever they are not telling the truth. In fact some people who get these don't have a much better outcome than with the regular lenses. I have had a great outcome, I need readers, but heck those of $12.00 each, a lot cheaper than 3000 out of pocket.

Just my take on this having had the surgery in both eyes with regular lenses.
