Why does AARP endorses UnitedHealth [View all]

for Medicare supplements? They practically saturate the air with their ads.

This is a company that was paying its CEO $100 million a year! I think that it is now down to $50 million.

A company that Andrew Cuomo, while NY AG went after for over billing seniors.

The only way a CEO and other executives can be paid so high is if they increase profit. And health insurance companies do this by limiting expenses - for health care providers and for subscribers.

Personally, I think that the only health care providers who should make money, yes, even get very wealthy in the health care area should be the ones actually providing health: doctors, nurses, hospitals. Yes, even drug companies. But insurance companies do nothing but shuffling papers.

OK, start shooting.
