I had the pleasure of writing a political column for a bi-weekly magazine here in Cleveland.

I also wrote financial redevelopment columns as well as writing about various ethnic communities in the City and how they worked to preserve their history.

All told I made over 50k writing during the time from 1993 to 1999.

It was fun, I was nomniated for a couple of my columns but never got passed the nomination stage.

I made three promises to myself, The first was to make money for writing, next was to make money, run for office and make a difference in politics and finally, to make money playing my guitar.

Did all three although I hope I can get back with the writing and the music stuff as my professional life kind of ebbs away....
