4. Tom Brady in the Super Bowl....Super MYTH

SB36 vs. Rams
If not for Mike Martz insistence on passing into 8 DBs (who were allowed to hit, grab and hold WRs all over the field as the Refs swallowed the flags), this game would have been very different. To Brady's credit, he did lead the team down to the winning FG, but it was Vinateri who hit the pressure kick...twice! The first was in the AFC playoffs in NE snow storm (greatest kick in NFL history given the snow, conditions and wind). Also that damn 'tuck rule' saved him from a first round exit in he first place...luck rearing its head in favor of Brady from the very start.

SB38 vs. Panthers
The Carolina kicker, after the game was tied on a Ricky Proehl TD catch (eerily similar to SB36) proceeded to kick the ball out of bounds, handing the Pats the ball at the 40 yard line. After another Vinateri FG (this one from 41 yards) the Pats had 2 out of 3 SB wins and Brady was being mythologized for Vinateri's clutch play...

SB39 vs. Eagles
Donovan McNabb was throwing up in the huddle on the final drive attempt and Terrel Owens was playing on a broken tibia; full strength Eagles would have decimated the Pats...

Lost SBs to Giants....twice.
Lost SB rematch to Eagles

SB against the Seahawks
Worst call in football history to throw the ball from the 1 yard line with Beast Mode in the backfield and a tine out in hand...this one was a total gift to Brady and he again did not make the play that secured the win, he was on the bench screaming like a teenage girl after the defense bailed him out...

SB against the Falcons
The single most epic choke in the history of sports. 28-3 lead and they blew it. The sack that Matt Ryan took that pushed them out of FG range should haunt that man until his death bed, but again...no matter how great a comeback might be, the OT rules today would not have allowed the game to end without an Atlanta possession in OT...even if they would have found a way to gag on that too!

SB rematch with Rams
McVay got de-pants by Bellicheck in that one. 13 points from the Brady-led offense is not exactly Joe Montana and Jerry Rice igniting the Broncos or Steve Young and Jerry Rice doing the same to the Chargers. It was an ugly game with about as much Brady "magic" as whatever is left in his marriage (too soon?).

Super Bowl against the Chiefs
Mahomes had to play with essentially street free agents at both OT positions and spent the entire game running and throwing for his life. That the game was a rout was unsurprising given the total inability of KC to field a competent OL for the game...a defense-led game that Brady gets credit for 'winning' when any one of 40 other NFL QBs could have done enough to win...

Bottom line?
Tom Brady is a mid-level QB now, well past his prime and hanging around to tarnish the memory of other accomplishments that were enhanced greatly by the exploits of others...again and again and again...

I do not like Tom Brady because he is not humble enough for a man who has reaped ungodly rewards and opportunities on the efforts and achievements of those around him. What is happening to him now is comeuppance for a career of timing, luck and self-immolation from the opponents.

I also cannot stand Tom Brady because he still refers to Donald Trump as a "friend" - even after seeing everything that man did upo close and personal, same thing with that greaseball Robert "Chinese Massage" Kraft (fucker with a famous name and no self-accomplishments to speak of to earn generational wealth to play with). Watching him lose is satisfying and I hope he regrets coming back for another year before polluting the broadcast world with his smug ass face and attitudes.
