14. I was at that SD playoff game

and I remember how soul-crushing it was, especially since we led at halftime and then got outscored 20-0 in the second half. The Steeler losses were their own special kind of misery, and then we go and lose to Mark freakin' Sanchez to boot. Ugh. I also attended the Raider playoff game this year and bore witness to 31 years of futility coming to an end, which was a very special night.

Having said all that, I didn't for one second contemplate spending the equivalent of a new car purchase to fly across country and be shoe-horned into a nosebleed seat to watching uniformed ants run about the field. I'm sure the wife would have been calling a divorce lawyer if I did, and I couldn't blame her.

Ocho is right: the price for tickets is absolutely insane, and it prices the average fan completely out of an event. Watching on tv will have to suffice.

As for Mike driving a Lumina, is he just supposed to walk to Wendy's? He has coupons, man!
