Do you cheat?

When I was a kid playing Zelda and other games, there was not an internet as we speak of today. However, I remember *once* I went to a bookstore in the mall to look at a Zelda guide to get past one particularly tough puzzle. Now it is so tempting to look things up. Especially in The Witness which I am currently playing, some of these puzzles I just don't get. Even some of the ones I solve and look at again I'm not sure why I solved it. That being said, I have looked up types of puzzles in the game, but I have not looked at any solutions so far.

I'm enjoying a break from the fps playing this complex puzzle game.
