2. I think he considered titling his autobiograohy "In Like Me."

Instead, he chose a title something like "My Wicked, Wicked Ways." (I am going by my memory. Please correct me if I am wrong.)

His last appearance was on "The Red Skelton Show" a week or so before his death. He appeared with his young girlfriend who always spoke highly of him.

His personal life, which included companionship with females in their late teens, would be controversial today.

His eldest son, a very handsome young man, was a photojournalist who disappeared along with a colleague during the Vietnam War. They motorcycled up to a makeshift Viet Cong checkpoint and were taken captive. That was the last that were ever seen.
