My sister gave me a heartbreaking report about Mom today [View all]

Two days in a row she has not wanted to get out of bed.

Not only that, on Thursday, Mom told one of our neighbors who was visiting her that she had spent the whole afternoon talking on the phone w/ her mother.

My mom's mother died more than 40 years ago.

I broke down and cried.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not in any kind of denial about her Alzheimer's Disease. But somehow incidents like this just seem to knock me for a loop.
