Trump won by lying. (Insert both sidesism:

All politicians lie
). Not like this they don't. This was calculated.

The whole campaign was based on turning over the keys to project 2025, pretending like he was not going to do that, lying about lowering prices on day one, lying about peace in the Middle East, lying about Ukraine. He told people they were all getting ice cream on day one and they believed it.

It's very hard to run against someone who's just flat out lying and has no intention of doing anything that they are saying. Even he cannot believe that people voted for him.

The way forward yes will involve getting those people to vote in their best interest going forward not just the next election but from now on. How do you convince people to vote for their own interest and not against them? I'm not entirely sure. So I really started thinking that the goal is the 50 state strategy that Howard Dean implemented that led to Obama's huge blowout victories. Barring that, we have to make sure that people who can't be trusted with the vote stay home.

But seriously our goal has to be to defeat them not convert them. Vote D or stay home. I am done being nice to these people and trying to win them over, and care about their feelings. Sorry if that sounds harsh. It's just where I am. FAFO!
