2. Behavioral and addiction treatment is lacking in NM. Long waits for warehousing, lacking in effective therapies.

You’d think in our Democratic state, the Democrats would have fixed this by now. We act like Rs in how we treat children. We are 49th & 50th in education, child welfare, etc. We get enough oil/gas money to overhaul the systems but just keep putting it off for the next legislative session. It’s really disgraceful.

Our gun laws are some of the most lax in the nation. And legislators won’t address the revolving door crime problem much to do with addiction.

It is so sad. 😭
