They only hear one side, spun to suit the prosecutor bringing the case.

Sometimes we remember this; it's wise to always remember this.

Same for when a case is settled and a federal prosecutor's filings and all the evidence in them is made public. It's still a one-sided story made to be as inculpating as possible--not the truth, but one side's attempt to impose a truth.
