Who are we supposed to be? Charlie Brown always thinking that Lucy won’t pull the ball away? We now have a whole conference of Susan Collins. I don’t trust any Republican to do the right thing at any point. I pay attention to Raw Story because they publish some good stuff, they also run crap articles like this all the time. Because people write them. So they publish them.

That doesn’t mean that they’re true or that they’re based on any reality at all. The Republicans are going to try to shove this grotesque bill through. Because Trump wants his “big beautiful Bill“. The first bill in 2017 that was primarily focused on tax reductions for entities that did not need tax reductions was bad enough. This one is even worse by an exponential amount.

This bill would not just make those tax deductions that none of the wealthy corporations and individuals needed permanent, but would gut the rural healthcare system in the United States. It is not hyperbole to say that tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths would result from this bill.

This bill does so many bad things in one package that it is damn near a country killer. Coupled with the insane tariffs that are on and off again this could usher us into a depression. Then consider the current immigration insanity where we’re gutting the agricultural sector (and the rule of law) and I see a deadly trifecta brewing.

I don’t know why the Republicans hate the United States so much, but if you go back through history it’s very clear the only Republican that truly cared about the union in this country was Abraham Lincoln. It’s all been downhill since then.
